3 Army jawans injured as Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch

Three military jawans had been on Wednesday injured as Pakistani troops fired from automated weapons and shelled mortars at ahead posts and villages alongside the Line of Management in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.

Pakistani troops additionally violated the ceasefire in Laam sector by briefly opening hearth alongside the LoC, police officers stated.

The Indian Military is retaliating successfully and the firing remains to be on, a defence spokesman stated.

 

“Pakistan Military initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars from 0845 hours in Poonch sector alongside the Line of Management”, the spokesman stated.

Within the firing alongside the LoC in Poonch sector, three military jawans suffered accidents, police officers stated.

On Tuesday, a military jawan was killed when Pakistan Military violated the ceasefire alongside the LoC in Poonch.

On October 2, two minors had been killed and 12 civilians injured in cross-border shelling by Pakistan alongside the LoC in Poonch district.

5 kids had been among the many injured, the youngest being five-year-old Zobia Kousar.
