CTD arrests four suspected terrorists in Multan | Pakistan


MULTAN: The Counter-Terrorism Division (CTD) on Friday rounded up 4 suspected terrorists in Multan, seizing a sizeable amount of arms and explosives from them, Zari Information reported.

In response to particulars, the CTD performed a raid on a tip-off and arrested 4 activists of banned outfit, who had been recognized as Nasir, Ali, Tahir and Shafqat.

The CTD additionally claimed to have recovered six hand grenades, two pistols, one IED (improvised explosive machine), two-kilogram explosives, three-meter detonating wire, eight-meter security, and ten detonators from the suspects.

Additional investigations are in progress, the spokesman added.
