Govt avenging Nawaz’s disqualification by increasing petrol prices: Bilawal | Pakistan

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Get together (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday stated that the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s (PML-N) authorities is avenging former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification by growing costs of petroleum merchandise.

The Ministry of Finance on Saturday revised costs of petroleum merchandise, growing the value of petrol by Rs2 per litre.

“We (PPP) demand a discount within the value of petrol,” Bilawal stated. “Zari Information should not be additional burdened with burgeoning costs.” 

The brand new costs are efficient from October 1 (at present). Petrol will now be offered at Rs73.5 per litre.

Costs for high-speed diesel (HSD) and light-speed diesel (LSD) had been additionally elevated by Rs2.

After the revision, HSD will likely be offered at Rs79.four per litre and LSD will likely be offered at Rs46 per litre

The ministry additionally elevated the value of kerosene oil by Rs4 per litre.
