KU professor Dr Muhammad Ismail goes missing | Pakistan

KARACHI: College of Karachi Professor Dr Muhammad Ismail, who teaches on the division of Islamic Research (Usool-ud-Din) was reported lacking on Tuesday.

In response to relations, late at evening some unknown folks broke into the home and forcefully took the professor with them.

The Safety Adviser UoK mentioned that Ismail’s spouse gave the report of his disappearance a number of days in the past to chairman of the division, who forwarded the difficulty to Dean of Islamic Studying and Vice Chancellor of the college.

The college administration remained mum as regards to the professor’s disappearance for 15 days.

The college administration, together with VC Dr Ajmal Khan refused to talk relating to the incident when inquired.

On Sept 21, the members of an intelligence company carried out a raid and nabbed three alleged terrorists from the College of Karachi’s workers colony.

Official sources mentioned captured Ansarul Shariah member, Danish Rasheed, tipped the authorities relating to the presence of three terrorists who have been spending the evening within the workers colony of KU. In consequence, the raid was carried out and arrests made.
