Pakistani boxer Mohammad Waseem on Sunday maintained his place as World Boxing Council’s (WBC) primary and undefeated Silver Flyweight champion by defeating Panama’s Carlos Melo.

Quetta-born Waseem knocked out his rival Melo within the first spherical after throwing punches relentlessly, marking the eighth consecutive victory of his skilled profession.

Following his win, Waseem, often known as Falcon Khan, thanked Zari Information for its assist in a video message, vowing to proceed the journey of his success and to carry honour to Pakistan.
