Sheikh Rasheed challenges Electoral Reforms Act in SC | Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed introduced on Wednesday that he has filed a writ petition in opposition to the passage of Electoral Reforms Invoice 2017, paving manner for former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to regain chairmanship of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

Talking at a press convention outdoors the Supreme Court docket, he stated that the Act is a violation of Article 62,63; and it was based mostly on mala fide intentions.
